Through His Eyes

This is the beginning of a new year. With new years comes changes, goals and resolutions for things to come.  One of my resolutions is to start seeing people the way God sees them. I have started to see the great importance of having hope, and hope for people to be changed and experience God in a way that is real and life transforming. I don't want to teach people how to be a Christian; I want them to be in a relationship with God. There is a big difference. Something became real to me this last year. God has sent me to a place where not very many people know about Him, but that shouldn't make me hopeless. I am the hope bringer. You know what that means? I need to be hopeful! Where does our hope come from? It comes from the Lord! He is never out of hope and he is never running low. How does this effect me? At youth group, when the kids start to come in I ask God to let me see them through his eyes. I see men who don't really know Jesus yet with the potential to be awesome pastors, or a Christian world leader someday. I see guys who someday will be godly husbands and fathers. I see girls who will stand strong and love on their friends, who will go the extra mile to show others Christ's love. I see family members being reached because they can't deny the change in their sibling's life or their kids' lives. I don't see lost people. I see people that God loves, people that he has a plan for. What do you see?
